Winter of Discontent

~~~ After the falling, after the landing and the stark reality that you are once again in Hell's false Eden, you come to the point that you know you must rise. Rise through the pain, and with steps aching begin the walk to the stairs that somehow you know exist. You have seen them once before, once before when the sickness of others has reached out and struck you. Dragging, pulling, taking you down, down through the dark passage and up into the stark reality of the winter of my discontent. The landscape that is as stark and cold as your heart and soul. And you climb up into the chill of the landscape you feel the numbness of your skin, your heart, your spirit and your soul. Numbness through which inside of you is another you screaming,"No! Not again!" The voyage to put back into the old niches the pain from the before traumas and now to learn how to re-live from the massive impact of the new one. Numbness - if it could only remain but you know it won't and so a new step in your journey begins.
